Your Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt Out: Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Note: Ally does not sell your personal information.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have comprehensive rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Lawful Basis: We process your data based on your consent, contract performance, or legitimate interests.
• Data Protection Officer: You may contact our privacy team for any GDPR related inquiries.
• Supervisory Authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• International Transfers: We use Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers outside the EEA.

Ally offers an optional ChatGPT app. If you connect Ally to ChatGPT, several independent actions give you different kinds of control. Interface labels inside ChatGPT and iOS may change over time; look for the equivalent settings if the exact names differ.

• Disconnect the Ally app inside ChatGPT. Open ChatGPT's Settings, look for Apps or connector settings, find Ally, and disconnect it. This stops ChatGPT from calling Ally tools going forward. Signing out of Ally alone does not disconnect the connection.
• Delete relevant ChatGPT chats. In ChatGPT's chat history, remove conversations that referenced your Ally data. Deleted chats follow OpenAI's own retention rules.
• Manage or delete saved ChatGPT memories. In ChatGPT's Settings, look under Personalization for saved memories, and remove any items that reference your Ally information.
• Adjust Data Controls and model-improvement choices in ChatGPT. In ChatGPT's Settings under Data Controls, choose how your chats can be used for model improvement. These choices sit inside your OpenAI account, not Ally.
• Sign out of Ally. Signing out of the Ally iOS app protects the device but does not, by itself, revoke the ChatGPT connection.
• Delete your Ally account. This removes Ally-controlled data under our Privacy Policy. It does not recall copies of information previously sent to OpenAI through the connection.
• Cancel Ally subscriptions through the App Store. Paid tiers are managed by Apple. Cancel or change them in iOS Settings under your Apple ID, Subscriptions.
